Tanker Crash Closes M60
The M60 has been closed clockwise between Salford and Prestwich following a crash involving a tanker. It happened just after 9am between Junction 16 at Pendlebury and 17 at Prestwich. The tanker has shed its load of Caustic Soda onto the carriageway.
As a result long days are expected throughout the day.
Police and Highways England officials are at the scene and all motorists are advised to approach the area with care.
