Salford to Calais Aid Convoy

Key 103 reporter Justin Mottershead has joined the aid convoy from Salford to Calais - delivering aid aollected from across Greater Manchester to Syrian refugees camped at the French port.

Donations from across Greater Manchester are heading to Syrian refugees today as part of the Salford to Calais campaign.

Items such as clothing, camping equipment and toiletries will be delivered to refugees in the French camp.

The campaign began last month when one Salford mum decided to take aid to the Syrians in France.

A convoy of ten vans set off from Stockport earlier this morning and Key 103 reporter Justin Mottershead will be following them every step of the way...
