With only two months to go until Christmas around one in ten families across our region still having to pay off debts from last year's festive period.
The news comes as debt advisors say people should already be budgeting for Christmas instead of leaving things till the last minute and getting themselves into debt.
Many shoppers in Manchester have told Key 103 they've already made a start on their Christmas shop, while some admit they won't start worrying until much nearer the time.
