Scientists in Manchester are launching an app aimed at answering the age old question - can we really be chilled to our bones?
A team of researchers from Manchester University are behind the smartphone-based study looking into the connection between pain and the weather.
Users are asked to let the app know how they're feeling whilst local weather data is automatically record via the phones GPS.
Anyone over 17 with chronic pain or arthritis is being asked to take part and so far around six thousand people have signed up to the year-long study.
