Manchester MP calls for action over maternity wards' failings
Pennine Acute Trust accused of letting pregnant women down.
Blackley and Broughton MP Graham Stringer has called for action to be taken in light of a recent damming report into Royal Oldham and North Manchester Hospital.
The report found that a catalogue of mistakes on maternity wards including a premature baby being left alone to die in a sluice room and mums being put at 'unnacceptable risk.'
Graham Stringer said executives need to take responsibility.
