Man jailed by DNA evidence 32 years after rape in Manchester
Henry Drennan sentenced to 10 years in prison.
A man who raped a woman in her own home in Manchester over three decades ago has been jailed today thanks to a DNA breakthrough.
Henry Drennan was linked to the attack which took place in 1984 after detectives from Greater Manchester's Cold Case Unit re-examined the case with the latest technology.
The 58 year-old's been sentenced to 10 years and must sign the sex offenders register for life.
