Fireman Found Dead at Stalybridge Fire Station
Fire stations across Manchester are flying their flags at half-mast today, to pay tribute after a popular firefighter was found dead yesterday.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
41-year old Lee Gaunt was discovered outside a building on Rassbottom Street in Stalybridge in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Police have released a statement confirming there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death and it has now been passed over to the Coroner.
Gaunt was a popular member of the fire service and many have been tweeting their condolences since the tragic news was broken.
