A car's been petrol bombed in Tameside.
It happened outside a house on Burlington Street in Ashton Under Lyne at about 2am on Tuesday (6th September 2016).
Police want to speak with two men who were seen running away from the scene towards Mowbray Street.
Detective Inspector Chris Simpson said:
“People living in the area will be, understandably, concerned about what happened and I want to offer my reassurance that we have extra patrols in the area. “We believe this was a targeted attack and are urging anyone who knows who is responsible or saw someone behaving suspiciously at the time of the incident to contact police.” Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 0161 856 9262, 101 quoting incident number 155 of 06/09/16, or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
