Body found in burning shed
A body's been found in a burnt out shed in Manchester.
A body of a woman's been found in a burnt out shed in Manchester.
Firefighters rushed to the blaze on Barlow Terrace in Chorlton Cum Hardy at about 06:45 this morning (Friday 2nd December 2016).
Police and firefighters are now working to identify the woman and the cause of the fire.
Detective Inspector, Mark Astbury, from GMP’s City of Manchester team, said:
“This is a terrible set of circumstances where someone has tragically lost their life.
“We are now trying to identify the person found and work out how the fire started.
“I would appeal to anyone with any information about this incident to please call us.”
