Teen jailed for five years after killing sister at Welsh caravan site

A teenager has been jailed for five years over the killing of his 15-year-old sister at a caravan site in North Wales.
Amanda Selby, from Ashton-Under-Lyne in Greater Manchester, died in July 2021 after being choked by her brother at Ty Mawr Caravan Park in Towyn, near Abergele.
Matthew Selby, also from Ashton-under-Lyne, was originally charged with murder but admitted to manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility in February.
An inquest ruled Amanda died as a result of asphyxia due to neck compression.
In a tribute to Amanda after her death, her family said she would be "very sadly missed" and was "caring, thoughtful and liked to help others."
She was described as a "loving daughter and grand-daughter who was "very much loved."
