Pro-Palestinian protesters have vandalised Donald Trump's golf course at Turnberry.

Insults and slogans have been spray painted in red paint on the clubhouse of the historic Ayrshire landmark.

"Gaza is not for sale" was sprayed on the lawn and multiple holes could be seen in the course. The protest group Palestine Action has claimed responsibility for the attack.

A spokesperson said on X: "The most expensive golf course in Britain ... got a visit by Palestine Action.

“No longer can ordinary people sit by whilst the American administration arms Israel and makes plans to ethnically cleanse Gaza. Whilst Trump attempts to treat Gaza as his property, he should know his own property is within reach.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4.40am on Saturday, 8 Mach, 2025, we received a report of damage to the golf course and a premises on Maidens Road, Turnberry.

“Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting reference 0636 of 8 March, 2025.”
