Sir Elton John has made his first public appearance just days after revealing a severe eye infection's left him with limited vision.

The singer's arrived in Canada at the Toronto International Film Festival for the world premiere of his new documentary film.

He smiled and waved at the cameras with his husband David Furnish.

Elton John: Never Too Late follows his career and love story with husband David Furnish - who is also one of the movie's co-directors, with RJ Cutler.

It will premiere on Disney+ in December.

On Wednesday, the 77-year-old revealed he'd been left with "only limited vision" in one eye after developing a "severe eye infection" during the summer.
