The family of a 'talented' content creator from South Yorkshire - who recently died by suicide - insist they don't want others to go through the 'nightmare' they're living through.

35-year-old Jonny Gascoigne - who lived in Sheffield - took his own life in September - after battling with mental health issues for a number of years.

Jonny's grieving dad Kevin tells us in a Broadcast Exclusive it's left all of his family feeling 'broken':

"If we can help to save one family from going through what we've been through, then that's all we can ask for.

"This is your worst nightmare. Jonny's left two kids behind.

"The demons finally got on top of him, so it's been a tragic time for us as a family, and we want to do all we can to prevent other people having to suffer like we have.

"You've got to let your feelings come out. If it's in your head, get it out of there - let it out.

"We've had over a thousand messages of support from people since Jonny's death, which's amazing really - and we've had great support from both Sheffield United & Sheffield Wednesday.

"It did come out of the blue in some respects, because this year Jonny seemed to be really happy.

"He was doing the job he loved, he had a girlfriend who he loved, which is why it is a bit of a shock that things have ended like this."

Since 2014, Jonny managed to build up a following of over 8,000 subscribers to his Sheffield United YouTube fan channel The Shoreham View - with the content getting more than 1.5 million views.

His funeral will take place later this month.
