17-year-old charged with murder following Stockwell shooting
16-year-old Lathanial Burrell was shot dead in Stockwell on the 4th of March.
A teenager has been charged with murder after a 16-year-old was shot dead in south London last week, police said.
Lathaniel Burrell died at the scene after being attacked in Paradise Road, in Stockwell, on Tuesday March 4.
His family are being supported by specialist officers, the Metropolitan Police said.
The 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, will appear at Bromley Youth Court on Wednesday.
Omar Prempeh, 32, of Stanstead Road, Forest Hill, south-east London, has already been charged with murder and will appear at the Old Bailey on Wednesday.
A 40-year-old woman has also been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, and possession of class A and B drugs with intent to supply.
Relatives of Lathaniel previously described him as as a Manchester United fan who enjoyed playing Playstation 5, and a friend of the family said he was "very bright at school".
