After teasing their fans on social media for days with slowly unravelling artwork, Paramore have finally unleashed their comeback single.

Lifted from Paramore’s fifth studio album ‘After Laughter’, ‘Hard Times’ is an ultra-catchy pop gem that musically continues where the band left off with 2013’s ‘Paramore’ with a sprinkling of The 1975 and Blondie added for good measure.

Better still, it comes with a kaleidoscopic Andrew Joffe directed video that harks back to a smorgasbord of MTV videos from the early 1980s - from Dire Straits to Devo to Peter Gabriel.

‘Hard Times’ is the first taster of Paramore’s new album ‘After Laughter’, which is released on Friday 12th May via Fueled By Ramen.
