Nine Inch Nails surprised their fans with a David Bowie cover at their first full show in almost three years last night (19th July).

Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross were midway through their show at the 10,000 capacity Rabobank Arena in Burbank, California when they launched into a cover of ‘I Can’t Give Everything Away’ – the final song on Bowie’s final album ‘Blackstar’.

Powerful and minimalist, Nine Inch Nails stripped away Bowie’s jazz horns and strings to leave just Trent Reznor’s voice and atmospheric keyboards.
