WATCH: Muse drone crashes into crowd at London's O2 Arena

They suffer a prop malfunction

Muse had an unfortunate prop-malfunction at their sold out London O2 Arena show last night (14th April).

Midway through a typically scintillating rendition of ‘The Globalist’ while the band performed ‘in the round’, their inflatable blimp-like drone – which usually skirts around the edge of arena – made a very, very slow descent into the crowd.

Muse’s crew rushed to rescue the drone and quickly took it from the arena. Fortunately no one was hurt in the incident.

Undeterred, following the incident the trio wrapped up their performance with a blistering encore of ‘Mercy’ and ‘Knights of Cydonia’.

Muse play thier final O2 Arena show tonight (15th April) before playing two nights at Glasgow SSE Hydro (17th and 18th April). They headline Glastonbury Festival this June.
