WATCH: Metallica perform Enter Sandman on classroom instruments
Absolutely amazing!
Currently in midst of premiering a video for every ‘Hardwired… To Self-Destruct’ track, Metallica took a break in proceedings to share the greatest thing you’re likely to see all week.
Guest appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the metal legends joined forces with in-house band The Roots and Jimmy himself to perform their seminal 1991 anthem ‘Enter Sandman’ with a twist.
Abandoning their usual musical weapons, it sees the collective play the metal masterpiece using schoolroom instruments to hilarious effect! Lars’ toy drum is particularly fetching.
Unsurprisingly, the video has quickly gone viral and has already been viewed over 8million times (at the time of writing).
