Linkin Park appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden last night to perform their poptastic current single ‘Heavy’.
The performance saw a suit and sunglasses adorned Chester Bennington stand at the front of the stage with collaborator Kiiara while the rest of Linkin Park loomed in the backlit shadows throughout the song.
Devoid of the studio sheen and glossy production, the live version has a slightly different edge to the single. Watch the performance here (skip to 1 minute and 14 seconds):
Met with somewhat of a mixed reaction from fans, ‘Heavy’ was co-penned by Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter - songwriters for Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Little Mix, Ed Sheeran, Britney Spears, Fifth Harmony and more.
It’s the first taster of Linkin Park’s new album ‘One More Light’, which is released across the globe via Warner Bros. Records on Friday 19th May 2017.
