WATCH: Korn unleash ghostly 'Insane' music video
They keep up the ante following the brutal 'Rotting in Vain'
Following in the footsteps of last month’s ultra-macabre ‘Rotting in Vain’, Korn have unleashed another hard-hitting video for new song ‘Insane’.
Directed by Ryan Valdez, the beguiling video is a grisly take on post-mortem photography – ‘memento mori’ – the practise of preserving loved ones after death through the medium of images.
The video sees a photographer prepare to take images of a deceased women’s head, however when he looks through the eye of the camera the woman comes to life.

‘Insane’ is the latest offshoot from Korn’s fervently awaited 12th studio album 'The Serenity Of Suffering', which arrives via Roadrunner Records on 21st October.
Boasting an appearance from Slipknot’s Corey Taylor on album track ‘A Different World’, the record was produced by the acclaimed studio wizard Nick Raskulinecz who counts Foo Fighters, Deftones and Mastodon among his production credits.
The record comes complete with an incredible cover created by acclaimed artist Ron English. It depicts a teenage Korn fan at a dystopian acid-nightmare funfair who is clutching a disembowelled and skeletal version of the doll who adorned 1999’s ‘Issues’.
According to the band’s representatives, plans are underway for a fresh UK tour.
