WATCH: Guns N’ Roses perform 'Shadow Of Your Love' for the first time in 31 years
Will they play it at Download Festival?!
Guns N’ Roses performed ‘Shadow Of Your Love’ live for the first time in 31 years in Denmark last night (6th June).
Originally a B-Side to the ‘It's So Easy/ Mr. Brownstone’ back in 1987, the band recently released a previously unheard version of the track as a single to promote their ‘Appetite For Destruction’ box set.
That version originated from a trial recording session with producer Mike Clink, who was enlisted to record ‘Appetite for Destruction’ with Guns N’ Roses the following month.
Guns N’ Roses’ raucous performance of ‘Shadow Of Your Love’ at Dyrskuepladsen in Odense, Denmark last night was its first live outing since a gig at the Marque Club in London way back in June 1987.

Having debuted it at Berlin’s Olympiastadion on Sunday, Guns N’ Roses also performed a version of Velvet Revolver’s ‘Slither’ in Denmark, strongly suggesting it may be incorporated into their Download Festival setlist.
It’s also been confirmed that Guns N’ Roses will play a sprawling three-and-a-half hour set at Download Festival on Saturday night.
According to the stage times revealed by Download Festival organisers, Guns N’ Roses take to the Main Stage at 7.20pm and will wrap up at 10.50pm.
