WATCH: Foo Fighters power on after US festival BottleRock pulls the plug on them
The consummate pros
Like the consummate pros that they are, Foo Fighters soldiered on when the plug was pulled on them at a US festival over the weekend.
Dave, Nate, Pat, Taylor and Chris were midway through performing their 1997 anthem ‘Everlong’ at BottleRock Festival in Napa Valley, California on Sunday night (28th May) when they ran afoul of the event’s strict 10pm curfew.
Undeterred by being plunged into silence, Foo Fighters powered on with the tens of thousands of festival goers singing along.
You can watch footage of the performance half-plugged performance, which also featuring Dave leading a Happy 41st Birthday singalong to his wife Jordyn Blum, below.
Foo Fighters headline Glastonbury Festival on Saturday 24th June as part of their European festival tour.
Earlier this month, Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins debuted the brand new Foos track ‘The Sky Is A Neighbourhood’ at James Hetfield and Sammy Hagar’s annual Acoustic-4-A-Cure charity concert in San Francisco.
The song is potentially the first taster of Foo Fighters’ ninth studio album, which the band are recording throughout 2017.
