Genre-straddling Danish rockers Volbeat are currently picking up some major love on Kerrang! Radio airwaves with their insanely infectious track ‘Cape Of Our Hero’. Keeping up the ante, the band have just unleashed the animated video for their brilliantly titled new single ‘The Hangman’s Body Count’ – watch it now below!
More abrasive than its predecessor, ‘The Hangman’s Body Count’ is a driving anthem that sees new band member, former Anthrax lead guitarist Rob Caggiano, come to the fore with his trademark searing riffs.
Both songs are lifted from Volbeat’s critically lauded fifth studio album ‘Outlaw Gentlemen & Shady Ladies’, featuring guest spots from King Diamond and Walk off the Earth’s Sarah Blackwood, which is out right now.
