The mighty Twin Atlantic have announced full details their brand new studio album ‘Great Divide’.

Set for release on 18th August through Red Bull Records, the album was written on the road during months of festival performances and sold out tours and recorded with long-time collaborator Gil Norton (Pixies, Foo Fighters) at Rockfield in Wales and with Jacknife Lee (U2, REM) in Los Angeles.

“90% of Great Divide was written in the back of the tour bus,” says lead singer Sam McTrusty.

“Our adrenaline was through the roof because, for the first time, thousands of people had come to see us. You can’t hear 10,000 people singing a chorus back at you and not be changed by it.”

Boasting the single ‘Heart and Soul’, the album is released as a standard 12-track edition, plus a special edition book pack with 16 tracks and a film documenting the making of the album.

A limited edition box set is also available exclusively through Twin Atlantic’s official website.

The album coincides with a busy summer for Twin Atlantic, which sees them play Tin the Park, The Great Escape and Reading & Leeds.

The band will also play an intimate fan show at The Boston Arms in London on 14th May. More details are to follow soon.
