Twenty One Pilots have announced four headline shows in London for June 2022 as part of their global Takeøver Tour.
Kicking off in Denver in September 2021, Twenty One Pilots’ Takeøver Tour will call in at Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, Columbus and Atlanta later this year before hitting London in June 2022.
Each city will see Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun kick off with an intimate club show and gradually increase venue size at each respective date before culminating with a full-on arena concert.
The London leg opens at The Camden Assembly on Tuesday 21st June 2022 and then calls in at London O2 Shepherds Bush Empire (Wednesday 22nd June), London O2 Academy Brixton (Thursday 23rd June) and London The SSE Arena, Wembley (Saturday 25th June).
Tickets go on sale from Kerrang! Radio Tickets at 9am on Wednesday 23rd June 2021.
Twenty One Pilots’ Josh Dun says: “Wow. We’re playing shows again. I couldn’t visualize taking another break like we did before Trench, but then we were forced to. Live shows coming back is something I think we’ve all really been waiting for, and we can’t wait to see you again soon.”
The Takeøver Tour supports Twenty One Pilots’ latest studio album ‘Scaled and Icy’, which was released in May and stormed straight in at Number 2 in the UK.
