Turnstile have received three nominations for the 65th annual Grammy Awards, taking place in February 2023.

The Baltimore band are in the running for in the category of Best Rock Performance for ‘Holiday, as well as Best Metal Performance and Best Rock Song for ‘Blackout’.

Their 2021 album ‘Glow On’ received almost universal critical acclaim and made many end-of-year-lists, from Kerrang! and the NME to Rolling Stone, The Guardian and the New York Post.

While Turnstile are usually tagged as a hardcore punk band, they have also brought a number of other styles and influences into their sound.

Speaking to Grammy.com at the time of the album’s release, frontman Brendan Yates said: “I think when it comes to that word of categorizing things based on sound, it's all based on an individual's perspective.

“I think in the world that we come from, we've taken from hardcore and punk growing up and going to shows and stuff like that. It's almost embracing the ideology and the sense of community. Embracing individuality and diversity over what some may predominantly categorize based on sound.”
