Trivium To Headline Friday Night At Bloodstock 2015
Plus two other big name acts are added to the bill
Floridian purveyors of sublime heavy metal Trivium have been unveiled as the third and final headliners of Bloodstock Open Air 2015!
Joining the previously announced bill-toppers Within Temptation and Rob Zombie, Trivium have the prestigious honour of headlining the Ronnie James Dio Stage on Friday 7th August.
Vocalist Matt Heafy said of their inaugural Catton Park appearance: “The UK is where the world first took notice of Trivium, and to pay true homage to that, Trivium will be playing the most Metal festival that exists in the UK: Bloodstock!
“We are thrilled beyond words to celebrate our first time at Bloodstock with the the UK’s Metal elite.”
Also newly confirmed are Swedish power metal monoliths Sabaton who are Friday night’s special guests before Trivium take to the stage.
Bassist Par Sundstrom enthused: “We just had a kick-ass tour in the UK with lots of sold-out shows!
“With this fresh in our mind, we cannot wait to return to these shores again and this time we can actually bring our full production to Bloodstock! It will be the first time we have done a show like this at a British festival!”
Completing the new additions are Oregon dark folk metallers Agolloch who appear alongside Orange Goblin, Sepultura, Ensiferum, Cannibal Corpse and Rob Zombie on the Sunday.
Other acts playing the Ronnie James Dio stage across the weekend are Opeth, Sabaton, Overkill, Ihshan, Dark Angel, Belphegor, Nuclear Assault. 1349. Armored Saint and Death DTA.
