It's in the works

Tom DeLonge says he has commenced work on a new Angels & Airwaves album.
The UFO investigator and former Blink-182 confirmed the news in a post on his Instagram account last night (7th August).
Sharing a photo of himself performing with Angels & Airwaves, Tom simply wrote: “new album in the works.”
Tom has been teasing an Angels & Airwaves announcement for some time now on Instagram.
Back in May, Tom posted a photo of himself playing a guitar along with the caption: ‘@angelsandairwaves music coming #StrangeTimes’.
After Angels & Airwaves fans expressed their delight at the news in May, days later Tom confused everyone by saying his impending announcement has been pushed back.
“Hi- my big announcement is still coming. Gonna be a few weeks still, got pushed back. But... just had a MAJOR development, making it even BETTER,” he wrote.
Last month he started re-teasing fans when he told his Instagram followers: “At this moment... I am sitting here and awaiting to tell you all about what is coming... Date is coming soon.”
When it eventually sees the light of day, the new Angels & Airwaves album will be the follow-up to December 2014’s ‘The Dream Walker’.
Since exiting Blink-182 in disputed circumstances, Tom released the fiction book ‘Sekret Machines: Chasing Shadows’ in 2016 and his first non-fiction book about UFOs called Sekret Machines: Gods in March.
Sekret Machines: Gods is the first of a trilogy and will be followed by Sekret Machines: Man and Sekret Machines: War.
Tom was also recently named UFO Researcher Of The Year by UFO website/YouTube channel Open Minds TV.
Last October, Tom hit the headlines when leaked emails from Hillary Clinton's US election campaign team showed that he contacted an advisor on the subject of UFOs.
Among the plethora of emails released by WikiLeaks were at least two messages from DeLonge to Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman John Podesta about the phenomenon of unidentified flying objects and extra-terrestrial life.
