As I Lay Dying singer Tim Lambesis has appeared in court for the first time since his arrest on suspicion of solicitation and conspiracy to commit murder.

The 32 year old pleaded not guilty to all of the charges against him during the hearing in San Diego.

Prosecutors have outlined the case against Lambesis, watch what they had to say below:

His legal team say it's a set up, and there's more details that are still to come out.

Lambesis has been given bail on a bond of $3 million. He's been told not to leave the San Diego area and has had his passport confiscated.

His fellow As I Lay Dying band members were in court for the hearing. It's looking increasingly unlikely their upcoming tour supporting Killswitch Engage will go ahead, due to their frontman's bail conditions.

Lambesis is expected to be back in court in July.
