The Smashing Pumpkins have announced a massive UK show for this coming autumn.

Founding members Billy Corgan, James Iha, and Jimmy Chamberlin together with longtime guitarist Jeff Schroeder will play London’s The SSE Arena, Wembley on Tuesday 16th October.

The band will be a six-piece at the shows with bassist Jack Bates and keyboardist Katie Cole also taking part, as the band moves to a three guitar lineup to better emulate the signature tones and textures of their albums.

The London date is part of The Shiny And Oh So Bright Tour that kicks off on Thursday 12th July at the Gila River Arena in Glendale, Arizona and includes a special 30th anniversary show at PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ.

Tickets to the London show go on sale from Kerrang! Radio Tickets at 9am on Friday 22nd June.

Last week, The Smashing Pumpkins unveiled their first recording in 18 years to feature Corgan, Iha and Camberlain; ‘Solara’. Cast your ears on it here:
