The Prodigy’s Liam Howlett and Maxim have paid poignant tribute to Keith Flint on the first anniversary of his death today (4th March).

“Stay Punk brother. Forever in our hearts,
“Liam and Maxim x #theprodigy #raisetheroof #weliveforever”
On what would have been Keith Flint’s 50th birthday last September, Liam and Maxim said that “not a single day passes” that Keith isn’t in their thoughts. They added: “We miss you brother.”
Last week, The Prodigy started selling a replica version of Keith Flint’s iconic ‘Dirty Dozen’ T-shirt from the mid-1990s via their official store.
The T-shirt comes with a yellow die-cast pin badge, inspired by those worn by Keith’s friends and family at the funeral last year. Costing £30.00, all proceeds from sales of the T-shirt are going directly to the mental health charity MIND.
In the wake of Keith Flint’s death, The Prodigy understandably cancelled all upcoming shows included at scheduled slot at Glastonbury Festival.
Last August, Liam Howlett confirmed he had returned to the recording studio to work on new Prodigy material.
Posting a photo of himself using some musical equipment, Liam wrote: "Back in the studio making noise. Brand new Prodigy tunes are gonna roll. Boooom."
Keith Flint’s funeral last March saw thousands of fans travel to Braintree in Essex to line the procession route. They also took part in spontaneous raving after Liam and Maxim urged them to “raise the roof” in Keith’s memory.
Fans also started a campaign to get The Prodigy's 'Firestarter' to number one in Keith's memory.
