In this week’s Kerrang! Magazine**, Taylor Hawkins exclusively reveals the songs that saved his life including classics by Queen, John Lennon and Pantera - he's also revealed his not a fan of all Foo Fighters songs.**

On the other side of the spectrum, however, Taylor also revealed the one Foo Fighters song he cannot stomach – ‘The One’ from the movie soundtrack album for Orange County.

Not pulling any punches, Taylor told K!: “I’ve always hated this song. I hate the way it sounds, the production of it; it was a total cop out.”

Explaining why it turned out - in his opinion - so turgid, Taylor added: “We were really trying to finish (fourth record) ‘One By One’. I liked the messed-up ugliness of that record, but we got asked by Tom Hanks’ son Colin Hanks to do the song for this movie called Orange County.

“Dave (Grohl) wrote it, I wasn’t crazy about it. It was straight-up pop – and there’s nothing wrong with that – but we were still trying to figure out how to be the Foo Fighters.”

Strongly rumoured to be headlining Glastonbury, Foo Fighters are playing a series of mainland Europe festivals this summer. It’s also expected that they’re commencing work on their ninth studio album this year!

Available to buy right now, this week’s edition of Kerrang! Magazine boasts a Lower Than Atlantis cover story with an exclusive 15-track B-sides, demos and rarities CD.

There’s also 10-year celebration of Paramore’s ‘Riot!’, an incredible interview with AFI’s Davey Havok, six amazing posters and much more.
