Download Festival has today added more than 20 acts from the world of rock, pop punk, hardcore and metal to next summer’s event.

Heading to the hallowed turf of Donington Park in Leicestershire on the weekend of Friday 9th to Sunday 11th June 2017 are the following artists:

Sum 41 Good Charlotte Pierce The Veil Mastodon Four Year Strong Alter Bridge Airbourne Opeth Clutch Ministry DevilDriver Coheed and Cambria The Dead Daisies Issues Knuckle Puck WAKRAT Basement The One Hundred Crown The Empire Greywind Astroid Boys Exodus Lost Society God Damn Red Fang

The new wave of acts join previously unveiled headliners System of a Down, Biffy Clyro and Aerosmith in what will be the Steven Tyler and co.’s last ever UK show.

It’s also been announced that the third stage has been renamed The Avalanche Stage. Headlined by the already confirmed Simple Plan and Sleeping With Sirens, the stage will boast the best in punk, emo and post-hardcore music.

Also previously confirmed across the weekend are Slayer, Rob Zombie, Prophets of Rage, Five Finger Death Punch, AFI, Of Mice & Men, Fozzy, Every Time I Die and The Story So Far.
