The Story So Far frontman Parker Cannon has been slammed as “cowardly” after he kicked a female fan off stage at a Canada show.

The California punks were blasting through their 2011 anthem ‘High Regard’ at Toronto’s Mod Club when a girl in the crowd climbed on stage and tried to take a selfie.

Clearly unimpressed with her antics, Cannon jumped in the air and kicked her in the back with both feet. A fan-filmed video of the incident, which has been viewed over 800,000 times, shows other members of the crowd getting up on the stage without incident.

Cannon has been condemned for the incident by the Mod Club and The Story So Far have been banned from performing there for life.

"On behalf of the venue we are appalled by the actions of the singer and do not condone these actions by anyone," Mod Club general manager Jorge Dias said in a statement.

"There was no report of injuries and the venue will not allow the band to play the venue again for their actions. I have never imagined and never seen anything like that at the venue in 14 years in operation. That was a very cowardly act."

Renowned for his unruly performances, last June Cannon kicked a selfie-taking young man off stage at Scout Bar in Houston, Texas.

In July 2014 he was involved in a fiery altercation with security at the Vans Warped Tour in Montreal. You can see footage of that incident below:
