Slipknot Unveil Macabre ‘The Negative One’ Video

Watch it in all its grisly glory right here

Five days after they unleashed the audio, Slipknot have now premiered the official video to their comeback single ‘The Negative One’.

The gloriously creepy and horror-movie esque video centres on a possessed girl who spits blood through her teeth, cowers against walls and daubs herself in grease.

There’s also plenty of other macabre imagery including beheaded goats, fish carcasses, and pagan-like charms. Sadly we don’t get any glimpses of Slipknot themselves.

The video serves as a perfect accompaniment to the fast, frenetic and ferocious track itself.

Available to download now, ‘The Negative One’ is the tantalising first taster of Slipknot’s as-yet-untitled fifth studio album.

It’s Slipknot’s first release without Paul Gray who died in 2010 and drummer Joey Jordison who acrimoniously exited the group last December.
