Slipknot's Sid Wilson and Kelly Osbourne welcome baby boy
Sharon Osbourne shares the good news
Slipknot turntablist Sid Wilson and Kelly Osbourne have welcomed their first child together, a baby boy called Sidney.
Although Sid and Kelly havenāt announced Sidneyās birth themselves, Sharon Osbourne revealed the good news during an appearance on The Talk yesterday (3rd January).
Comment on her daughter Kelly, Sharon said: āShe has (recent had a baby). Sidney.ā
Asked how Kelly and baby Sidney are doing, Sharon replied: "They're just so, so great. So great. (Kelly) won't let a picture go out of him. No, and I'm so proud of her."
Heavy metal legend Ozzy Osbourne is now a proud grandad of 10, while Sharon has five grandchildren.
Kelly Osbourne celebrated Sid Wilsonās 45th birthday on 20th January 2022 by confirming they were in a relationship together.
Kelly shared an Instagram story featuring a picture of herself with Sid Wilson along with the caption āHappy Birthday Baby.ā In the pic, Osbourne was wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with Sid Wilsonās iconic gas mask Slipknot guise from the late nineties and early noughties.
Last May, Kelly announced that she and Sid were expecting their first baby together.
Posting a selfie of herself with her ultrasound scan, Kelly wrote: "I know that I have been very quiet these past few months so I thought I would share with you all as to whyā¦ I am over the moon to announce that I am going to be a Mumma. To say that I am happy does not quite cut it. I am ecstatic!"
Slipknot have played Ozzy Osbourneās Ozzfest festival numerous times over the years and first appeared on the bill in 1999 alongside the likes of Black Sabbath, Slayer, Deftones, Primus, Godsmack, Fear Factory, System of a Down.
They also played Ozzfest in 2001 in support of their brutal masterpiece āIowaā, and again in 2004 as part of The Subliminal Verses Tour.
In 2016, Corey Taylor said Slipknotās Ozzfest performances in 1999 were pivotal to the bandās career. He said: āOzzfest gave us an incredible opportunity and we were able to really jumpstart our career from there ā¦ The great thing about being a part of that Ozzfest was that you were immediately a part of a family.ā
Slipknot and Ozzy Osbourneās Ozzfest Meets Knotfest events took place in California in 2016 and 2017.
