Slipknot's new masks for 2019

Slipknot have officially unveiled their new masks, premiered the video for new song ‘Unsainted’ and revealed that their sixth studio album is called ‘We Are Not Your Kind.’
After days of teasing on social media, the Iowan masked metallers finally unveiled their new guises this afternoon (16th May) thanks to a new press photo and the incredible video for ‘Unsainted’, which was once again directed by M. Shawn Crahan himself.
The follow-up to last Halloween’s single ‘All Out Life’ - which intriguingly doesn't appear on 'We Are Not Your Kind' - ‘Unsainted’ is a deliciously brutal Slipknot anthem of the highest calibre. Feast your eyes and ears on the video right here:
Boasting 14 new Slipknot tracks, ‘We Are Not Your Kind’ is released on Friday 9th August via Roadrunner Records two months after the band’s eagerly anticipated headline slot at Download Festival.
Guitarist Jim Root says of the album: “This is the most time we’ve had to write a record, and work stuff out together. One of my inspirations this time around was those artists that recorded full length albums - not just songs. While the industry is moving toward singles, SLIPKNOT wanted to make an album experience, front to back.”
“These days the art we are making comes with the highest reward, because it’s taken the most time,” adds Crahan. “Almost four years to create this emotion and temperature, and the reward now is nothing short of salvation.”
The ‘We Are Not Your Kind’ artwork looks like this:

Slipknot have also confirmed that on Sunday 9th June, they will live stream their entire performance at Germany’s Rock Am Ring Festival around the globe. Further details will be unveiled at a later date.
They appear on a weekend bill at Download that also boasts Def Leppard, Tool, Slash ft. Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators, Smashing Pumpkins, Trivium, Halestorm, Slayer (their final UK show), Rob Zombie, Simple Creatures and many, many more.
