Slipknot announce first wave of Knotfest At Sea bands
It sets sail this August
Slipknot have announced the first wave of bands joining them on their maiden Knotfest At Sea cruise.
Setting sail from Barcelona in Spain on Monday 10th August on the Norwegian Jade ship, the five-day Knotfest At Sea cruise travels to Naples, Italy and arrives back in Barcelona on Friday 14th August.
Slipknot will perform two headline sets on the voyage, and they will be joined by Anthrax, Behemoth, Devildriver, Sevendust, Skindred, Ho99o9, Higher Power, Sleep Token and more to be announced.
Behemoth frontman Nergal enthuses: "Maggots and Legions! Our momentous tour with Slipknot comes to an end in a few days and it’s been our biggest in Europe to date! But I’m beyond excited that our comradeship with Slipknot ain’t over yet… for we're teaming up with them again for Knotfest at Sea! We look forward to feasting again this Summer!"
Devildriver vocalist Dez Fafara adds: “DevilDriver is extremely honoured to be asked to play the first KnotFest At Sea cruise! We cannot wait to sail the high seas together with Slipknot and this killer line-up of bands. So, raise the Skull & Crossbones and prepare for a party at sea.”
As well as performing live twice, Slipknot also have these following activities planned:
- A live Q&A with members of SLIPKNOT
- A Sid DJ/MC set
- A Slipknot Whiskey Tasting & Discussion with Clown (limited capacity)
- A signing with Mick Thomson (limited capacity)
- A drum workshop with Jay Weinberg
- A bass clinic with VMan
- 20 years of Slipknot memorabilia showcased throughout the ship

Once they’re back on dry land, Slipknot will head to The National Bowl in Milton Keynes on Saturday 22nd August 2020 for the very first Knotfest UK.
