Slipknot's Corey Taylor auctioning 13 signed guitars for coronavirus relief

Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman, Corey Taylor, is auctioning 13 of his prized guitars to raise money for the fight against coronavirus.
The online auction launched on eBay last night (27th April) and each of the 13 used guitars are emblazoned with Corey Taylorās signature. Every guitar also comes with a case and a certificate of authenticity from Corey.
The auction is live now and finishes on Friday 8th May. 100% of the proceeds will benefit Direct Relief, who will provide PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and essentials to healthcare workers.
The US based charity Direct Relief says it āimproves the health and lives of people affected by poverty and emergency situations by equipping healthcare facilities in resource-poor areas with medicines and supplies.ā
Among the guitars fans can bid on is a Gibson Dave Grohl Signature Guitar (one of just 400 units globally), Gibson Les Paul Classic and Sunburst guitars, and Olympia and Yamaha electric guitars.

Corey Taylor last toured the UK with Slipknot in January as part of the masked metallersā We Are Not Your Kind World Tour.
Slipknotās inaugural Knotfest UK rock and metal extravaganza is due to hit The National Bowl in Milton Keynes on Saturday 22nd August 2020. At the time of writing, the one-day event is currently scheduled to go ahead as planned.
