Thrash metal titans Slayer have lined up their first headline UK shows in six years.

Fresh from teasing an announcement for Welsh and English concerts last week, Slayer have announced they will play the 35,000-capacity Blackweir Fields in Cardiff on Thursday 3rd July 2025 and London’s 45,000-capacity Finsbury Park on Sunday 6th July 2025.

The two European exclusive concerts bracket Slayer’s previously confirmed performance at Black Sabbath’s Back to the Beginning concert at Birmingham’s Villa Park on Saturday 5th July.

The six-strong line-up at the Cardiff and London shows also features Amon Amarth, Anthrax, Mastodon, Hatebreed and NECKBREAKKER.

Anthrax

Slayer have promised ‘a career-spanning set, stage production like you've never seen before, and a night of pure thrash fury that will be remembered forever.’

Tickets to Slayer in Cardiff and London go on sale from Aloud.com at 10am on Friday 7th March.

After playing their ‘last-ever show’ at The Forum in Inglewood, California on 30th November 2019, Slayer announced they were reuniting in February 2024 for two summer festival shows at Riot Fest Chicago and Aftershock festival in Sacramento, California.

In addition to Villa Park this year, Slayer are already confirmed to play FEQ Festival in Quebec, Canada on 11th July 2025, and Louder than Life Festival in Kentucky in mid-September.

Amon Amarth

Their last UK performance took place at Download Festival 2019 when they headlined the second stage on the Sunday night.
