Slash ft. Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators have unveiled details of their brand new studio album ‘Living The Dream’.
Boasting 12 new tracks, which the band are currently putting the finishing touches to, the record will be released via Slash’s own label Snakepit Records in partnership with Roadrunner Records on Friday 21st September.
The album is Slash’s fourth solo record and his third featuring his band of Myles Kennedy (vocals), Brent Fitz (drums), Todd Kerns (bass, vocals) and Frank Sidoris (guitar, vocals).
Just like 2014’s ‘World on Fire’, ‘Living The Dream’ is being helmed by acclaimed producer Michael “Elvis” Baskette (Alter Bridge, Iggy Pop, Incubus).
When Slash first unveiled plans for a new album back in March, he said: “I’m excited about the new stuff we put together for this next record; it’s got some cool songs and it’s got a great live feel.
“I’ve been working with Myles, Brent and Todd for about 8 years now. It’s been an amazing ride so far; as a band we continue to get better which is great. With the addition of Frank since the ‘World On Fire’ tour, I feel we have hit a great, creative stride which I definitely think shows on this next record.”
Although Myles Kennedy is currently touring his solo album ‘Year of the Tiger’ and Slash is obliterating box office records around the globe with Guns N’ Roses on their Not In This Lifetime… Tour, the pair have managed to squeeze in a North American tour to coincide with the release of ‘Living The Dream’.
The lengthy trek will kick off at the world-famous Whisky A Go Go in Los Angeles on 13th September and take in a total of 20 shows culminating at Sacramento’s Aftershock Festival on 14th October.
