You Me At Six On Course For No.1 with 'Cavalier Youth'!
The album is currently trouncing its nearest rivals
You Me At Six are dead certs for the album chart top spot this weekend with their epic fourth record ‘Cavalier Youth’.
!Weybridge’s finest sold just over 20,000 copies of the album yesterday – incredibly that’s almost four times the sale of their nearest rival, Ellie Goudling’s ‘Halcyon’.
Showing no signs of slowing down, the deluxe edition of ‘Cavalier Youth’ is currently number one on the iTunes chart and the standard version is in third spot.
Bar an unexpected sales drop over the next six days, ‘Cavalier Youth’ should become You Me At Six’s first ever chart topping album on Sunday.
‘Sinners Never Sleep’ was their previous highest charting release when it peaked at no.3 in October 2011. The album has since gone on to sell over 150,000 copies in the UK.
You Me At Six’s debut album ‘Take Off You Colours’ charted at no.25 in 2008 and 2010’s ‘Hold Me Down’ hit number five.
