You Me At Six are among the names confirmed for the FIFA 14 soundtrack.

Certain to bring their scintillating sounds to a much wider global audience, the Weybridge band’s number 11 hit ‘Lived A Lie’ will appear on the latest edition of the football video game.

Guitarist Max Heyler enthused BANG Showbiz: “We're looking forward to the exposure the song will give us. I had a friend who was working for Two Door Cinema Club and when they had their songs on FIFA that opened them up to a new world of people.

“They went to New York and one of the security guards was like, 'Oh, I heard your song on FIFA, I love your band, I love your band.' It was just a guy who loves hip-hop and rap.

“I think it will do a world of justice to us, the exposure. Especially to new fans who have maybe never heard the band You Me At Six before.”

Other songs on the soundtrack include Nine Inch Nails’ ‘Copy of A’, Foals’ ‘My Number’, The 1975’s ‘The City’, Vampire Weekend’s ‘Worship You’ and Miles Kane’s ‘Don’t Forget Who You Are’.

Last September FIFA 13 sold 1.23million copies in 48 hours in the UK and went on to shift an estimated 14.5million units around the globe.
