Sabaton announce massive UK show with Apocalyptica and Amaranthe

Swedish power metal titans Sabaton will play a massive show at London’s The SSE Arena, Wembley on Saturday 8th February 2020.
Part of the European leg of their brilliantly titled jaunt ‘The Great Tour’, Sabaton’s show at the 12,500 capacity Northwest London venue is their only headline UK date of the year.
Support will come from Finnish symphonic rockers Apocalyptica and Sabaton’s fellow Swedish natives Amaranthe.
Tickets go on sale from Kerrang! Radio Tickets at 10am on Friday 5th July.
Sabaton said: "Our journey in the UK has been long and full of people who did not believe in us. Thanks to fantastic fans we have proven over the years that our music will work in the UK and now finally we are in the venue where we can use our full production and give all our fans in the UK the great show you have been waiting for.
"You know by now how much we care about the bands we choose to bring with us on tour, this is no exception. Amaranthe is a rising star on the metal sky bringing such energy and passion rarely seen on stage and will open the evening. After that comes the big surprise for a lot of people who are not familiar with the cello rock band Apocalyptica, but trust us that their emotional show will definitively create magic in the arenas.

Sabaton will headline Bloodstock Open Air this August as part of their European summer trek.
Meanwhile, Apocalyptica have just announced they have penned a new record deal with Silver Lining Music with whom they will release an album in 2020.
They said: “We are excited to learn how a slim record company structure plus all the marketing instruments of perhaps the biggest metal music powerhouse (with festivals, touring business, merchandise, etc) are set up for 2020!
“This feels like the absolute right company for the times we are in. We are very excited about our new album and we have the strongest belief that Silver Lining is the right partner for our music!”
