Watch: Rammstein premiere colossal new song 'Zeit' and its very eerie video
It's lifted from their eighth studio album 'Zeit'

After teasing new music on social media earlier this week, Rammstein have premiered their new song ‘Zeit’ and its very eerie music video.
The song is the title track of Rammstein's eighth studio album 'Zeit', which lands on Friday 29th April 2022 just in time for the band's European Stadium Tour.
Clocking in at over six minutes, musically ‘Zeit’ starts with atmospheric piano plonks and angelic backing singing, before Till Lindemann’s trademark vocals enter the fray and we’re taking into typically monumental Rammstein musical realms.
Just like 2019’s ‘Deutschland’, the Robert Gwisdek directed ‘Zeit’ music video is suitably epic, visually striking and, at times, extremely weird.
Filmed backwards, the video starts with the five Rammstein band members as seamen drowning in a stormy sea, before time reverses and we’re taken back to their boat where they’re confronted by a Death-like hooded figure.
Elsewhere, Rammstein feature as soldiers killed by the hooded figures, and there are clips of childbirth where the Rammstein are reborn out of a giant sandglass while wearing David Bowie ‘Lazarus’-esque bandages around their eyes.
The video culminates with a pastoral scene where Rammstein feature as farmers and a hooded figure claims the life of a young woman. Check out the video in full below (Warning it might be NSFW).

Even when they played smaller stages, this did little to quell Rammstein's insatiable appetite for fire. Here's a shirtless Till Lindemann swinging two Catherine wheel-like fireworks at the Palace in Los Angeles in 1998.
