Rain and Sunny Spells Forecast For Download Festival

It will be a mixed bag this weekend

The weather at Download Festival will be a very mixed bag of rain, sunshine and cloud, according to early forecasts.

At the time of writing, BBC Weather, Metcheck and the Met Office are unanimous in their predictions of interchangeable conditions and mild temperatures.

The day-by-day breakdowns are as follows:

Wednesday For the early arrivals tomorrow will be mostly cloudy with temperatures peaking at a pleasant 18°, with some** **light showers and the odd glimpse of sunshine forecast for the evening.

Thursday After a dry start in the early hours, Thursday will be a mix of heavy rain and sunshine in the morning. In the afternoon and evening the rain will turn lighter with some descent sunny intervals. Temperatures on Thursday, Friday and Saturday hit a high of 15° in the afternoon.

Friday Revellers will be greeted by white cloud and glorious sunshine in the morning, however grey cloud, light rain and some sunny spells will feature throughout the rest of the day.

Saturday Almost a carbon copy of the previous day, Saturday looks set to be bright in the morning before interchangeable weather dominates with the risk of some heavy showers.

Sunday Much like the rest of the weekend, it will be a varied day weather-wise of sun, cloud and rain. Temperatures could potentially reach the dizzy heights of 19°.

As always, Mother Nature can be highly unpredictable so we wouldn’t be surprised if the above predictions change.
