PHOTOS: Slipknot's Clown Launches New Mask Series

Slipknot percussionist Shawn Crahan has launched a series of limited edition clown masks.
Announcing the new line on Slipknot’s official website on his 44th birthday this week, Crahan said the clown masks are a perfect annual celebration.
“I decided that every year on my birthday I'm going to release a new clown mask,” he wrote.
“As you know I've tried to get some masks out to the public and it hasn't quite yet added up to everything I wanted to be.
“Now I'm collaborating with a friend named Jason Kain and we are going to bring you the new way in clownology.
“I'm going to put masks out every year with a new story. Clown001 is starting it all off. In the near future you will receive the story behind clown001.
The first macabre incarnation costs $500 (£310) and is limited to just 50 copies globally. Fans can buy it from the Apocalyptic Nightmare Store right here.
We await the next instalment with a due sense of dread and apprehension.
