blink-182, Paramore, Foo Fighters and Bring Me The Horizon are among the nominees for The BRIT Awards 2024.

The 44th BRIT Awards ceremony takes place at London’s The O2 on Saturday 2nd March and the nominations for all 15 categories were revealed this afternoon (24th January).

Foo Fighters will battle it out for International Group of the Year with blink-182, Paramore, boygenious and Gabriels.

11 years on from their last nomination, rock legends The Rolling Stones have been nominated in the Alternative / Rock Act category alongside Bring Me The Horizon, Blur, Young Fathers, Yussef Dayes.

The Stones have been nominated for a BRIT Award three times over the decades – Best British Group in 1977, Best British Video for ‘Love is Strong’ in 1995 and Best British Live Act in 2013 – but they’ve so far failed to win any.

The Last Dinner Party

The Last Dinner Party were announced as the winners of the 2024 award after a stratospheric rise to fame. The five-piece from London started out only in 2020, giving their first performance in 2021 - so it's a pretty impressive trajectory.

They said of the win: "We are so proud beyond measure to have won the BRITs Rising Star. It's an honour to achieve something so iconic so early on in our career and we can only hope to keep making music that connects with all the incredible people who have listened to and supported us so far. Thank you!"

RAYE leads BRITs 2024 nominations and breaks record for most nods by a single artist in any one year – she’s up for seven awards including Artist of the Year and Mastercard Album of the Year.

55% of the 2024 BRITs nominations feature women – either as a solo artist or as part of an all-woman group.
