Papa Roach announce special 20th anniversary celebration event for 'Infest'
Infest In-Conversation
Papa Roach have announced a very special 20th anniversary celebration event for their blockbuster debut album ‘Infest’ taking place this weekend.
The live-streamed event is called Infest In-Conversation and it will be broadcast at 9pm UK time on Saturday 25th April 2020 – 20 years to the day since ‘Infest’ was released.
As the title suggests, Infest In-Conversation will feature all four members of Papa Roach - Jacoby Shaddix, Tobin Esperance, Jerry Horton and Tony Palermo – chewing the fat about ‘Infest’ alongside former drummer Dave Buckner and special guests.
The album, which spawned the colossal songs ‘Last Resort’, ‘Broken Home’, ‘Blood Brothers’ and ‘Between Angels & Insects’, will be the focus of the broadcast plus Papa Roach will reminisce, tell stories, and pay tribute to that era of music and the band’s breakout years.
Infest In-Conversation will be live streamed on Papa Roach’s official YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, VK and Twitter (via Periscope) channels.
Widely regarded as one of the defining albums of the nu metal genre, ‘Infest’ has sold more than 8 million copies worldwide including 3 million in Papa Roach’s native United States.
Lead single ‘Last Resort’ is still Papa Roach’s biggest hit UK single – it charted at number three upon release and it has achieved Platinum status here.
Papa Roach’s tenth studio album ‘Who Do You Trust?’ was released in January 2019 and the band played a sizable UK tour that April.
