Download Festival has confirmed that Ozzy Osbourne will headline next summer’s festival.

Two years after he topped the bill with Black Sabbath, Ozzy will bring Download to a close on Sunday 10th June 2018 in what will be his first ever headline solo show at Download Festival.

Download Festival’s promoter Andy Copping says: “We’re unbelievably excited to have Ozzy as one of the headliners next year.

“Already hailing from the midlands, Ozzy Osbourne is no stranger to Download, and after Black Sabbath closed the festival in 2016, how could I not ask The Prince of Darkness to come back all on his own? The Download family are without a shadow of a doubt, in for a treat.”

Standard weekend and RIP tickets to Download Festival are on sale right now. Head to Kerrang! Radio Tickets for yours.

The other two headliners for next year’s rock extravaganza are expected to be announced in the coming days. Last year’s event was headlined by System of a Down, Biffy Clyro and Aerosmith.
